Edinburgh
’s Award,
Alberta
, NWT & Nunavut Division has partnered with CanadaHelps.org, a
not-for-profit charity portal and a registered public foundation that seeks to
promote and facilitate philanthropy through on-line giving. CanadaHelps.org
offers its services at no cost to the donor.
To
donate, simply click the ‘donate now’ button and you will be immediately
connected with the The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award,
Alberta
, NWT & Nunavut Division’s donation page. To start the process, enter
your donation amount in the space provided on the right side of the screen and
you will be guided through the donation process, including the opportunity to
make a general or tribute donation and to select the appropriate fund. As
Canada Revenue Agency has approved the issuance of electronic tax receipts and
as CanadaHelps.org is a registered public foundation, you receive an official
e-receipt from CanadaHelps.org. Once the donation is received electronically
by the Awards office, we will send a thank you acknowledgement. All
information entered is strictly confidential and securely protected. Donor
information is only provided to the charity to which the donation is made.

The Duke of
Edinburgh's Award Young Canadians Challenge is an
exciting self-development Programme available to all young
people. The Programme equips young people with life skills to
make a difference to themselves, their communities and the world.
The Programme now reaches over 100 countries, motivating young
people to undertake a variety of voluntary and challenging
activities.
