Leaders
Leaders are the backbone of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award programme. As Award Staff, we try to support our leaders as much as we can. If you are interested in having Duke of Edinburgh's Award staff member come out and speak to your group about the Award, please contact the office in your region. If you are located in a region with no local office, please do not hesitate to contact the Ontario office. Often, our staff travel to different regions of Ontario and would be happy to assist you. Also, other group leaders and volunteers are often willing to present to new groups in their area.
*** Annual group renewal packages are sent out during the first week of September. Please let us know when you receive yours. Contact Jen Coyne.

How to Become a Duke of Edinburgh's Award Group Leader:
If you are interested in becoming a new group leader and starting a new group, all you need to do is register members of your group. Once you have indicated yourself as a group leader, you are entered into our database. The Duke of Edinburgh's Award does not suggest or supply leaders for new groups. It is up to the group to find a leader. If you are a new leader joining an existing group, or taking over for an existing leader, please update the Ontario Office.
