Are you a registered group leader with the Duke of Ed?

Leader Training Workshops are geared toward new leaders who would like to learn more about the programme and meet other leaders in the same position.

The two components that will be covered are:

Nut’s and Bolts
This session takes you through the basics of The Award Programme again, however delving much deeper in to the workings that general presentations do not get into. More time will be spent in discussing of the four sections, the three levels, ‘what counts’, time requirements, and the record book.

From Start to Finish
This practical session takes a linear approach to leading a group. As the title states, the discussion will begin at the registration phase and end at the recognition phase. This session will emphasize the leader’s role throughout the process: the administration and the caveats. Again, there will be ample time for questions and answers (one hour).

 We will also have a break midway and ensure some time at the very end for small group and one-one-one discussions. Light snacks, coffee, water and juice will be provided. Please indicate any allergies on the registration form. We look forward to seeing you!

Where: Craigwood Youth Services (Boardroom upstairs), 520 Hamilton Road, London, N5Z 1S4.

Time: 6:30pm - 8:30pm

Cost: $10 (to cover materials)

Time: 6:00pm - 9:00pm
