Call for volunteers for the 9th Annual Buskerfest!

The 9th Annual Buskerfest is an international celebration of street performance that raises money to support Epilepsy Toronto. Raise over $200,000 for charity with your fellow volunteers by welcoming people to the festival and asking for a donation to charity! Volunteer shifts are available from 1030am – 11pm, Thursday to Sunday; demonstrate your interpersonal skills by adding up to 20 hours of volunteer work at Buskerfest to your resume!

TD Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup
September 20 - 28th, 2008
Canadians across the country will be cleaning the
shorelines in their communities to have a positive impact on their local
environment.
As a part of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award and TD Waterhouse's Investing in
Youth Initiative, we are encouraging Award participants from across the
country to participate in the shoreline cleanup. Youth from Toronto,
Calgary, Vancouver, Halifax, Montreal, Ottawa, St. John's and Saskatoon will
have the opportunity to come out and make a difference in their communities.
Participation in the cleanup will allow youth to log hours towards the
service section of their Bronze, Silver or Gold level award. As a part of
the Investing in Youth Initiative we would like to encourage you to organize
a group of youth to participate in this worthwhile service project.
