![]() National The Charter for Business was established as a partnership between the Award Programme and the Business Community to fund the expansion of the Award's work with disadvantaged young Canadians: Inner City Youth, Young Offenders, Aboriginal Youth, Young People with Disabilities and Northern & Rural Youth. Thanks to the generosity of 34 Founding Partners, the Award now attracts 12% of its participants from the "at risk" communities. With over 1 million young Canadians falling into this category however - we still have much work yet to do.
