![]() Programme in Saskatchewan The Saskatchewan Division Structure has a membership known as the Provincial Council from which a Board of Directors is elected at the Annual General Meeting. The Honourary Chairperson is The Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan. The Saskatchewan Division Office is located in Regina at 1860 Lorne Street. National Office The National Office is situated in Toronto, Ontario. In conjunction with the Provinces and Territories, known as Divisions, the National office is responsible for delivering the Award Programme to over 40,000 young people across Canada. Programme in Canada In Canada, The Award is chaired by the Governor General of Canada. The National Board of The Duke of Edinburgh's Award Young Canadians Challenge is licensed as a National Award Authority (NAA) by the International Award Association (IAA) based in London. The National Board is composed of Division Presidents and members at large from across the country. The Board meets regularly by conference call and twice yearly in person. There are 10 Divisions within Canada. Each Division is overseen by a Board that meets on a regular basis to ensure the Division is working effectively within the National and International Guidelines. Each of the Divisions employ staff to deliver the Programme to the young people throughout their province/territory. Canada and The International Award Association (IAA) Canada is committed to playing a role in helping to develop the Award internationally. Canada for many years was the North American representative on the International Council. As well, Canada has actively participated in international conferences including Forum 2000 in Cape Town, South Africa and the first ever conference of the Americas in Florida.
