A Gold Project is a minimum of 5 days, 4 nights  away from home on a shared activity with people you've never met before.  It only has to be done once, and can be done at any time while you are working towards any level of The Award.

Picton Castle (Tall Ship Sailing Adventures) – Come Sail With Us!

The Barque Picton Castle is a three-masted tall ship based in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, Canada, best known for our sail training voyages around the world. Since 1997 we have taught hundreds of young men and women from around the world to sail our barque, and we have circumnavigated the globe six times. Join us as we cast off on a transatlantic adventure departing Lunenburg, Nova Scotia on October 1, 2015 sailing to Portugal, Spain, Gibraltar, Africa, the Caribbean, BVI, Bermuda and more. No previous sailing experience is necessary, just a strong back, willing heart and a sense of adventure.

Toronto Brigantine - Tall Ship Adventures for Youth

Toronto Brigantine’s Summer Program is targeted to youth ages 13 to 18, who are ready for adventure and are looking for NEW FRIENDS, EXCITING CHALLENGES and NEW SKILLS while sailing the Great Lakes and Georgian Bay this summer. TBI is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to building character in youth through sail training.  This is accomplished through the peer-to-peer delivery of challenging programs aboard our traditionally-rigged vessels, with a focus on safety and the creation of positive and memorable experiences for trainees.  Each vessel has the capacity for 18 teenager trainees with the crew of teenager officers, with only one adult on board, the Captain.

Canada World Youth
- A World of Active, Engaged Global Citizens 

International educational programs for young people aged 15 to 35.  Young participants volunteer on development projects which focus on environment, health or equity.  Partner countries include Benin, Ghana, South Africa, India, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Honduras, and Peru.  CWY organizes customized programs ranging from 2 weeks to 3 months for group of youth aged 15 and up.  This initiative is possible thanks to the support of the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA).
