Advocate for the Award

You can advocate for the Award by joining ​our Board of Directors or one of its committe​es, including local councils. ​People who wish to be part of the Board or one of its committees should have connections to the corporate and/or not-for-profit sectors and broader community and demonstrate philanthropic leadership. Members are sought with skills, experience, connections, and knowledge across a wide array of disciplines which may include:
• business leadership;
• education (schools, colleges, universities);
• media and communications, including social media;
• government(s), government relations and advocacy;
• research;
• connection with strategic target markets (​including francophone and Indigenous communities);
• youth program delivery/services; and/or
• personal or family experience with the Award.
