Empowering Student Growth Through the Award: Discover the Co-curricular Approach

Launched in 2024, the Co-curricular Approach is an exciting new way to bring The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award – Canada into public secondary schools across the country —connecting classroom learning with real-world experience.

Looking for a way to boost student engagement, support well-being, and build essential life skills while complementing the great work you’re already doing in and beyond the classroom?

The Co-curricular Approach does exactly that. This innovative model integrates the Award framework with curriculum goals to support educators, empower students, and make learning more meaningful.
