Welcoming Sheridan College as Our Newest EOP

We’re thrilled to announce Sheridan College’s Women in Red Seal Skilled Trades program as our newest Education Operating Partner through the Co-curricular Approach with Award Canada.

This partnership isn’t just a milestone—it’s a movement.

Sheridan’s commitment to empowering women in skilled trades aligns perfectly with our mission to foster leadership, confidence, and purpose through hands-on, real-world learning. By embedding the Award into their co-curricular pathways, Sheridan is creating space for women to thrive—not just in their careers, but in their communities.

Why It Matters

Skilled trades are the backbone of our economy, yet women remain underrepresented in these vital roles. Through this collaboration, Sheridan is helping to change that narrative—offering a model for how colleges can integrate leadership, mentorship, and experiential learning directly into trades education.

This is more than a pilot. It’s a blueprint for equity in action.

What’s Next

As Sheridan begins its journey as an EOP, we look forward to supporting their students in building Award experiences that reflect their unique strengths and aspirations. From goal-setting and service to adventurous journeys and skill development, the Award will help these future trades leaders grow with purpose.

Together, we’re shaping a stronger, more inclusive skilled trades workforce—and a brighter future for education and the world of work.

Welcome, Sheridan. Let’s build something extraordinary.
