The Muskoka Woods CEO Leadership Program is a four-week summer experience for teens ages 15 to 17 that builds confidence, leadership, and lifelong friendships. Participants are able to complete the Duke of Edinburgh’s Bronze and Silver Adventurous Journey requirements and uniquely log hours across all other Duke of Edinburgh activity areas. With world-class mentors, a canoe trip in Algonquin Park, epic camp activities, and exceptional accommodations on Lake Rosseau, in Ontario, Canada, the program delivers an unforgettable summer packed with adventure, growth, and memories that last a lifetime.

We offer a wide variety of spring & summer options for youth (13+), young adults (up to 24), schools & groups. Our expeditions and leadership courses range from 4 to 26 days, making it possible to meet any Adventurous Journey and Gold Project requirement. Join us for a transformative experience in BC, Yukon, Japan, Fiji, Ecuador, and Colombia... and beyond! If you're a school or group, we create custom trips tailored to meet your Duke of Edinburgh's Award requirements.

The go-to Adventurous Journey provider for home learners throughout the Lower Mainland, BC and Canada, with monthly 2–5 day options throughout the school year (Sep–Jun). We create custom groups for schools and offer trips in BC, Yukon and Ontario. We also provide opportunities (local to Vancouver) to fulfill your Skills, Voluntary Service and Physical Recreation sections. Vancouver Outdoor School is also an Award Centre!

Based on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, The Youth Excellence Society offers Adventurous Journeys that combine outdoor challenge with teamwork, leadership, and personal growth. Our programs are designed to help youth build confidence, develop outdoor skills, and connect meaningfully with others while exploring some of BC’s most beautiful natural spaces. Participants learn navigation, trip planning, cooking, and group camping skills through hands-on experience and guided reflection.

Bytown Brigantine is a registered charity that runs youth sail training programs and camps aboard its two tall ships, Fair Jeanne and Black Jack (Ottawa’s official Signature Vessel), as well as two Montagu whalers. For over 40 years, the organization has provided hands-on education and leadership training in a challenging, rewarding environment. Named Sail Training International’s “Organization of the Year” (2024), Bytown Brigantine is recognized for its commitment to youth development, seamanship, and leadership. The organization ensures accessibility for all, never leaving a young person ashore for financial reasons. Their programs help participants build confidence, teamwork, perseverance, and leadership while meeting the Award’s core values.

Queensgate College offers expeditions in northern Spain as part of the Duke of Edinburgh Adventurous Journey. You can explore the Picos de Europa or South Cantabria, where we combine challenging terrains, engaging bush craft workshops, rich biodiversity, visits to authentic Spanish villages, and the memorable experience of camping under the stars. Each aspect of our expeditions supports participants ' personal growth and provides adventure at every stage of their journey. We provide AJ services for both small and large school groups throughout the year.
