30+ Riverside Students Earn Their Bronze Award

More than 30 students from Riverside Secondary School in Windsor, Ontario, were recently recognized for completing their Bronze Award as part of The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award.

The students, who participate in the school’s Physical Education Leadership Class and Environment Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) program, were pinned during a special recognition ceremony celebrating their Bronze Award.

For the students at Riverside Secondary School, the Award provided opportunities to serve their communities, build new skills, stay active, and step outside their comfort zones. Through their efforts, they demonstrated a strong commitment to personal growth and achievement.

Their success reflects not only the dedication of the students themselves, but also the support of the educators and school leaders who continue to champion experiential learning opportunities within the Greater Essex County District School Board.

Congratulations to every Award Holder at Riverside on this well-deserved recognition. We cannot wait to see where you go next!
