Fanshawe College Becomes First Post-Secondary EOP in Co-curricular Approach

We’re thrilled to officially welcome Fanshawe College as Award Canada’s first post-secondary Education Operating Partner (EOP), a milestone that reflects a bold commitment to integrating the Award framework into post-secondary education. 

This partnership opens new pathways for students to grow through hands-on, purpose-driven experiences that complement their academic journey. It’s about building confidence, leadership, and a sense of purpose—skills that prepare young people not just for work, but for life. 

We’re especially proud to launch this initiative with Fanshawe’s Women in Skilled Trades Program, a pilot that exemplifies the College’s deep commitment to inclusion, innovation, and student success. 

As shared in Fanshawe’s official press release, Britney Hunter, Chair of the Apprenticeship and Skilled Trades Accelerator, noted:
