Newfoundland and Labrador Joins Co-curricular Pilot

We’re proud to announce the Newfoundland and Labrador Department of Education as an official Operating Partner in the Co-curricular Approach, making the Award accessible to over 20,000 students across the province.

This pilot integrates experiential learning into the school day, helping students develop real-world skills such as resilience, goal setting, and leadership, while empowering educators to deepen engagement and enrich curriculum delivery including alignment with Careers courses.

Rooted in flexibility and inclusivity, this approach supports diverse learners and reflects a shared commitment across Newfoundland & Labrador to education that prepares young people not just for graduation, but for life.

By partnering closely with educators, we’re fostering inclusive, real-world learning opportunities that equip youth for success beyond the classroom. This pilot is a vital step toward expanding Award delivery across Canada, empowering students to build both hard and soft skills for their future careers.
