Example SMART Goal: I’m going to level up my Minecraft building skills over the next 13 weeks. Each week, I’ll dedicate an hour to learning something new, like adding realistic details, designing interiors, or mixing different block types. I want my builds to look way more professional by the end.

Example Assessor: Teacher, librarian, or community center staff familiar with gaming

Example Log: Built a medieval castle today and tried out some new stone brick patterns on the walls. The glass pane windows really made it look better. Working on interior rooms next.

Example SMART Goal: Sitting and gaming can be tough on your body, so I’m committing to chair yoga and stretching for an hour each week. Over 13 weeks, I’ll track my flexibility and see if I have less discomfort.

Example Assessor: Gym teacher, fitness instructor, or recreation center staff

ORB Category: Gym/Personal Programs

ORB Subcategory: Yoga

Example Log: Did a full chair yoga session – lots of wrist stretches and shoulder rolls. Noticed way less neck tension after gaming this week. Adding eye exercises next time.

Example SMART Goal: Gaming for good! I’m going to run weekly charity livestreams on Twitch for a local children’s hospital. One hour each week for 13 weeks, tracking viewer numbers and donations raised.

Example Assessor: Charity volunteer coordinator or hospital community liaison

ORB Category: Charity

ORB Subcategory: Fundraising for a Charity

Example Log: Third charity stream today with 8 consistent viewers. Raised $15! Engagement went up when I explained how the hospital uses the funds. Promoting more to get more viewers next week.

(Completed as a team. Participants will work together to plan and complete their journey.)

Example Activity: Take a Minecraft-inspired architecture tour! Explore cool buildings, landmarks, and structures in your area. Document the materials, designs, and building techniques you see. Use what you find as inspiration for your next in-game builds.

Example Team Goal: Together, we’ll visit at least 5 different structures, photograph and sketch the details, and create a guide comparing real-world construction to Minecraft building.

Example Assessor/Supervisor: Teacher, Award Leader, or community volunteer
