Chimdinma Chijioke is an international student from Nigeria who started the Award program upon her arrival in Canada and completed the Silver Award in 2018.

After completing the Silver Award, Chimdinma continued to give back to her community through volunteering and utilizing the skills she learned from the Award. She is currently studying at the University of Manitoba with a major in Political Studies, a minor in Asian Studies and looks forward to starting her Gold Award in the fall.

Chimdinma is thankful that the Award has helped her to make friends and adjust to life in Canada.
