They also recognize the Award as an achievement programme which is invaluable in encouraging youth with their self-confidence, leadership skills and community involvement. They recognize its value for developing employ-ability traits in young people. We believe the Award educates and motivates youth to become well-rounded citizens equipped with invaluable life skills.
Nick joined the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award as the Cadet
Liaison Officer in 2012, and actively engaged the cadet population within the province.
In late 2015 he joined the full time Award staff as the Award Officer (Regina
Area). Nick sees the value this program has to offer and enjoys trying to find
new ways to deliver the program. When not working for the award Nick is an
Officer in Canadian Armed Forces Reserves- Cadet Instructor Cadre. He enjoys
coaching Biathlon, and spending time with his son Nolan.

has been involved with the award since 2013, starting in Regina, and recently
moved to Saskatoon where she continues to work as an award officer. She also
works as a substitute teacher in the Prairie Spirit School Division. Kaitlin's
mission is to make sure every youth in the province has heard about the award
and doesn't miss the opportunity to take the challenge! ?
